What This Is
52Waypoint is a free, step-by-step platform to help founders turn ideas into businesses. No investment required. One step per week. Fifty-two total.
Your Account
Use a real email address. Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Your Content
You own what you post. By posting, you give us permission to display it to the community. Do not post anything illegal, harmful, or that violates someone else's rights.
Termination
We can suspend accounts that spam, harass, or harm the community. You can delete your account anytime from your profile page. When you delete, your data goes with it.
Disclaimer
We provide this platform as-is. Following the steps does not guarantee business success — that part is on you. We are not liable for decisions you make using this platform.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the new terms.
PRIVACY POLICY
What We Collect
Your email address (for login), optional profile information (tagline, avatar image), waypoint progress (which steps you have completed), checkpoint feedback you submit through forms in each waypoint, content you write in your logbook, conversations you have with the AI Cofounder, and basic usage analytics.
How We Use It
We use your data to keep you logged in, track your waypoint progress, send occasional platform updates, and improve the experience. Feedback you submit through checkpoints in each waypoint may be used to train AI models that power the AI Cofounder and the platform's other AI features. We do not use your account credentials, profile, or private logbook content for AI training.
Public Content
Logbook entries are public by default. The notes you write under each completed waypoint are visible to other visitors and may be indexed by search engines. You can choose to keep a logbook private when you create it, or change its visibility later from your profile. Anything you publish in a public logbook should be considered shared with the community.
AI Cofounder
When you chat with the AI Cofounder, your messages and its replies are stored in our database so the assistant can keep continuity across the conversation. These transcripts are private to your account and not shown to other users. We may review them in aggregate to improve the assistant; aggregated insights may inform model training as described above.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We rely on the following sub-processors to run the platform:
- Supabase — authentication, database, avatar storage, and transactional email.
- Tally — checkpoint forms and the global feedback panel.
- Vercel — hosting and privacy-focused analytics.
Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. International data transfers are handled by these providers under their compliance frameworks.
Your Rights
You can view, edit, and delete your account and all associated data anytime from your profile page. Deletion is permanent and removes your logbook entries, waypoint progress, and chat history. For specific requests, contact hello@52waypoint.com.
Data Retention & Children
We keep your account data while your account is active. After deletion, your data is removed from active systems within 30 days. Backups may retain copies for up to 90 days before they age out. 52Waypoint is not directed at users under 16; if you are under 16, please do not create an account.
